Driver Injured in Crash with Parked Vehicle on Alhambra in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — August 5, 2022, a 23-year-old woman was seriously injured in a car accident on Alhambra in San Antonio.

Authorities say the incident happened around 11:10 p.m. on Alhambra near West Avenue. Preliminary investigation suggests the victim was driving an Infiniti sedan north on West Avenue when a police officer tried to pull her over for a broken taillight. The officer reported the victim turned right on Alhambra and then crashed into a parked and unoccupied Hummer H2. After the crash the driver and a passenger ran away on foot, but the officer caught and apprehended the driver.

The Infiniti driver reportedly suffered serious injuries in the crash with the Hummer.
