Orlando “OJ” Morales Jr. Killed, Pedro Gonzalez Injured in Car Accident in Laredo, TX

UPDATE (January 10, 2023): Details released by authorities appear to identify the man injured in the crash as 19-year-old Pedro Gonzalez. Gonzalez was said to be a passenger in Orlando Morales Jr.'s vehicle when the crash occurred. There was apparently a second unidentified passenger with injuries that appeared less serious. The cause of the crash remains unconfirmed.

Laredo, TX -- December 19, 2022, Orlando "OJ" Morales Jr. was killed and another was hurt following an accident involving a single vehicle.

Investigators said that the crash took place at around 3:00 a.m. in the area of the Bob Bullock Loop and Saunders Street.

It appears that 24-year-old Orlando "OJ" Morales Jr. and a 19-year-old man were in a car traveling along Bob Bullock. Somehow, the vehicle was involved in a single-vehicle wreck.

Due to the crash, Morales sustained fatal injuries while the passenger was said to be in serious condition. No further information about the crash is available at this time.

When some people read about accidents like this, they just assume that the driver did something wrong. Is that possible? Sure--in fact it's the more common explanation.
