Ivan Castaneda Killed in Car Accident on Dowlen Rd in Beaumont, TX
Beaumont, TX — December 16, 2022, 40-year-old Ivan Castaneda died in a car accident on the Dowlen Road overpass in Beaumont.
Authorities say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday along the Dowlen overpass near College Street. The cause and circumstances of the accident aren't clear yet, but reports suggest Castaneda's vehicle and another collided in the area for unknown reasons.
Castaneda was fatally injured in the crash. The other vehicle's driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.
