Commentary on Thomas Middendorf Semi-Truck Accident in Lynden Township

There isn't much information here, and that isn't too unusual this soon after a commercial truck wreck. Two vehicles colliding while going the same direction can happen for all kinds of reasons--distraction, speeding, alcohol, tire blowouts, following too closely, etc. Some may be quick to just blame the winter weather and move on, but if anyone should be able to drive in winter conditions, it's a Minnesotan in December. That's why it's important to ensure there are thorough investigations to prevent anyone from jumping to conclusions and to ensure those involved know they're getting the full story.
