Omar Tarango Killed in Rollover Accident in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX -- December 10, 2022, Omar Tarango was killed due to an accident where his vehicle ran off-road and overturned.

In their initial reports, authorities said that the incident happened at around 2:16 a.m. along Loop 375 ion the area of Vista Del Sol.

It appears that 33-year-old Omar Tarango was in a vehicle traveling eastbound. After taking exit 41, the vehicle somehow left its lane, hopped the curb, hit a pole, then overturned.

Due to the crash, Tarango sustained fatal injuries. No one else appeared to be hurt. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.

When it comes to early morning rollovers like this, people are often quick to just assume the driver was being reckless or was drunk. Common as that may be, there are all kinds of reasons a vehicle can lose control. Even if something seems unlikely--mechanical defects, for example--it's worth looking into.
