Commentary on Dual Truck Accident on Strawberry Plains in Knoxville

One would expect a work truck like this to be pretty darn visible, and considering it was painting the lines on the road, I have serious doubts the work truck was the one leaving its lane or causing an accident. That said, it's important to have the facts.

This particular stretch of road appears to have some twists and hills. If the work truck wasn't properly equipped with visibility tools or if they just weren't on, a truck coming over a hill may not see a work truck in time to avoid it. At the end of the day, a crash involving a commercial vehicle is complex enough on its own. A crash involving two should probably be in the hands of independent professionals that have experience with this sort of accident so those involved can get the help they deserve.
