Commentary on Round Rock Car Accident on S Mays Street
Police aren't sure what caused this accident yet, though they seem to have ruled out intoxication. If they're right that's certainly a relief; too many wrecks like this one happen when a driver is dangerously over the limit. However, saying what didn't cause the wreck is a far cry from figuring out what did. I hope police plan to invest the time and care to figure that out, and everyone affected by the crash deserves answers. Anything from other driver mistakes like falling asleep or getting distracted to poor road or weather conditions to major vehicle malfunctions must be considered to be sure the whole story is learned; will police efforts alone be enough to check all of those out and find the truth?
