Commentary on Donia Aly Single-Vehicle Accident in Oak Ridge North

It's not my place to sit here and speculate about the details available about this crash. What I can do, however, is encourage people to share my sense of prudence. I learned a long time ago that there are all kinds of possible factors surrounding single-vehicle wrecks. Sometimes, it's just a driver being reckless. Other times, there are extenuating circumstances, such as a bar over-serving the driver or the driver suffering a medical emergency. And other times, there can be unforeseeable events like tire blowouts, manufacturing defects, and other drivers leaving the scene. Considering these possibilities is a vital part of any investigation, which is why I wonder if this crash got the attention it deserved.
