Commentary on Single-Vehicle Accident on I-30 at Edgefield in Dallas

Single-vehicle wrecks like this can be quite challenging, though folks may not think that would be the case. Isn't this just the result of someone speeding, falling asleep at the wheel, or being drunk? That's often true, but not always. The issue is that even authorities can fall into the trap of jumping to conclusions, which means important information slip through the cracks without more thorough independent investigations. Especially with someone apparently seriously hurt, I see no reason why this crash would be an exception to that.
