Commentary on Christopher Michael Foote Truck Accident in Cherokee County
With single vehicle accidents like this, it's important people don't simply assume that the driver did something wrong. Is that possible? Sure--in fact it's pretty common. But there can be extenuating circumstances leading to serious truck wrecks which authorities often overlook. For example, mechanical issues can be a serious problem for commercial trucks. There are a lot of hands involved--the drivers, their employers, and the businesses that conduct repairs or replace parts. Any of these groups messing up can have devastating consequences. IT often takes more thorough independent investigations to look into that sort of thing, which is why I would caution folks against jumping to conclusions here before that happens.
