Commentary on Truck Accident on Forney Road in Dallas
I can't help but be skeptical this crash got a proper investigation. The details suggest that the truck involved here was making a wide right turn, but the implication seems to be that the Cadillac driver is the one responsible for this. Is that possible? Sure, I certainly can't rule anything out without knowing all the facts. But generally speaking, if someone hits the right side of a truck that's traveling the same direction as them and making a right turn, it's because the truck driver made an unsafe turn. Whether or not that happened here, there's enough cause for concern to warrant more thorough investigations to ensure authorities didn't miss something important.
