Commentary on Pedestrian Accident on FM 92 in Hardin County

Authorities weren't clear on how this all happened or what factors may have been at play. One would think that a driver should be able to see and avoid someone along the roadway, but for all we know the victim was by a dark vehicle blocking the lane of travel. One would expect authorities to be all over the facts, but it may surprise people to learn how rarely I rely on police reports. They are vital resources, but they're just one piece of the much larger puzzle. Ensuring there are investigations to catch anything unusual is almost always necessary if people are going to get the help they need. The same could very well prove true here, as well.
