One Killed in 3-Vehicle Accident on Mariposa Road in Hesperia, CA
Hesperia, CA — December 7, 2022, one person died in a three-vehicle collision involving a commercial truck on Mariposa Road in Hesperia.
Authorities say the incident happened around 2:45 p.m. on Mariposa near Eucalyptus Road. Preliminary information suggests only that a box truck, a Ford pickup, and a Kia sedan collided in the area for unknown reasons. Responders found the Ford partially impaled into the box truck when they arrived.
Firefighters extricated the pickup driver but were unable to revive him; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Ford was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
