Houston Man Killed in Car Accident on I-84 in Ada County, ID

Ada County, ID -- December 1, 2022, a Houston man was killed following an accident where two vehicles crashed on I-84.

Idaho State Police said the incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. along I-84 near mile marker 49.

It appears that a 20-year-old Houston man was in a Chevy van when it somehow hit the back of a Saturn car. The van then overturned.

The Houston man ultimately succumbed to his injuries while the driver of the Saturn had unspecified injuries. No further information is available at this time.

I may not be as familiar with police departments in Idaho specifically, but I have handled crashes all over the country. One thing remains consistent: deadly wrecks tend to be better off in the hands of independent professionals. Police usually have other problems they prioritize, and crashes like this can slip through the cracks. Especially if there is family out of state, taking steps to ensure someone is working to get them clear answers should be a priority.
