Independence County investigators said that the crash took place just north of Batesville. The exact circumstances are unclear. It appears an accident involving an 18-wheeler occurred, ultimately resulting in one person losing their life. No further information is available at this time.

It's not exactly unusual for there to be so few details about a serious commercial truck wreck this soon after it happens. These can be incredibly complex accidents, and without the right experience and equipment, there can be some details even authorities aren't equipped to handle on their own.
