Victoria Kroening Killed in Semi-Trailer Accident in Mosinee, WI
Mosinee, WI -- November 29, 2022, Victoria Kroening was killed due to an accident where her vehicle crashed with a semi-truck.
Officials said that the accident happened at around 1:20 a.m. along I-39 at Highway 153. It appears that 62-year-old Victoria A. Kroening was in a vehicle traveling along the interstate. Somehow, her vehicle crashed into the back of a semi-truck which reports say was merging onto main lanes from the Highway 153 on-ramp.
Due to the collision, Kroening sustained fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported. No further information is available at this time.

Something that these reports don't specify is exactly why the victim's vehicle crashed into the back of the truck. It's one thing if the truck was just going along the ramp, and the victim's vehicle was also on the ramp and failed to slow down. It's another thing if the truck merged onto the interstate with plenty of time for the victim to slow down. And it's another thing entirely if the truck cut off the victim while merging. One may assume authorities probably have the answers, but the reality is there can be numerous obstacles preventing them from getting the victim's loved ones the answers they deserve. That's why there may need to be more thorough investigations here to ensure nothing important slips through the cracks.
