Commentary on Motorcycle Accident on Hwy 223 near Lamont
Authorities seem to think this crash was largely due to an unfortunately-timed passing maneuver. I have no specific reason to doubt them, but long years in my field have also taught me to take preliminary reports with a grain or two of salt. Sometimes things are as simple as a few sentences in the news make them sound, but people would be shocked how often a second look reveals missed details or a completely different story. Will police take the time and care needed to ensure they have all the facts, or are they satisfied with their conclusions and already moving on?
