Alejandro Serrato Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Little Elm, TX

Little Elm, TX -- October 29, 2022, Alejandro Serrato was injured due to an accident where a vehicle crashed off the side of the road.

Investigators said that the crash took place at around 3:18 a.m. along Eldorado Parkway in the area of Oak Grove Parkway.

According to officials, 24-year-old Alejandro Serrato was in a vehicle traveling westbound on Eldorado. While rounding a curve, the vehicle ran off the side of the road, onto the sidewalk, and into a barrier.

Serrato had injuries said to be incapacitating due to the crash. Right now, the cause of the crash cannot be confirmed.

I find that people are often too quick to jump to conclusions when it comes to single-vehicle wrecks. Is it more likely that the driver was on their phone or intoxicated than, for example, a manufacturing defect causing the crash? Sure, but getting folks the help they need should always be a priority, and that means letting the evidence speak for itself. It's possible leaving the crash ion the hands of authorities alone may lead to some of that evidence slipping through the cracks.
