Alexsis Martinez, Noe Sanchez Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- November 11, 2022, Alexsis Martinez and Noe Sanchez had injuries following an accident involving an 18-wheeler.

Investigators said that the incident happened at approximately 12:27 a.m. along Beaumont Highway in the area of Oates.

It appears that 27-year-old Alexsis Martinez was in a Toyota Sequoia traveling westbound on the highway. Noe Sanchez Jr. was said to be in an 18-wheeler also traveling westbound in front of the Toyota. For reasons yet to be confirmed, the Toyota hit the back of the 18-wheeler.

As a result of the collision, Martinez was said to have incapacitating injuries. Sanchez reportedly went to a hospital following the crash. At this time, additional details are required to confirm the cause of the crash.

It's always frustrating when people see a rear-end collision and think they have the full story. Despite the misconceptions, this is not automatically anyone's fault. It matters what exactly led to the collision. Maybe it's a rear driver on their phone, a driver ahead cutting someone off, or some unusual factor police aren't equipped to investigate properly.
