Commentary on Pedestrian Hit-and-run Accident on N. Loop 289 in Lubbock

Hit-and-runs are just infuriating to read about. People need to take responsibility for their actions, and they often flee these accidents, even when they might not have otherwise been in trouble. The reason for that is usually because they were doing something else wrong--warrants, drugs, drunk driving, etc. If the community keeps these details in the public eye and remains vigilant, someone may yet come forward and ensure there are appropriate consequences for what happened here.
