Commentary on Thomas Sajna Truck Accident in Perry Township

A lot of crashes like this happen, yet they don't seem to get much attention. Ironically, people seem to think lawyers are all out to get truck drivers, yet I know from experience how quickly folks jump to conclusions reading about a deadly wreck like this. Is it common that this sort of thing is due to driver error? Of course, but that doesn't excuse overlooking other possibilities.

For example, mechanical issues are a big problem with commercial trucks. They're incredibly complex, and a mistake from a manufacturer, a repair shop, or a flippant employer that would rather skip maintenance than keep their employees safe can easily lead to a devastating accident. If authorities aren't looking into those possibilities here, are other steps being taken to ensure the victim's loved ones get the answers they deserve?
