Verenice Ontiveros Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Hunt County, TX

Hunt County, TX — November 20, 2022, Verenice Ontiveros was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 3:40 a.m. on SH 276 in Hunt County.

Crash investigators allege that Verenice Ontiveros's Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling northeast on SH 276's westbound lanes, before hitting a concrete barrier. The vehicle then reportedly caught fire.

Verenice Ontiveros was pronounced dead at the scene.
