With a serious crash like this, it's important to make sure that no one jumps to conclusions. Even if it's true that a vehicle went through a light, that's not always as simple as it may seem. It could be the result of speeding, distraction, or drunk driving, certainly. But it can also involve defective vehicles, road hazards, medical emergencies, malfunctioning lights, etc. Likely or not, victims and families looking for help are best served getting as much evidence as possible and letting it do the talking for them.
