Man Injured in Explosion Accident on South Monroe in Amarillo, TX

Amarillo, TX -- November 14, 2022, one person was injured after an accident where a garage exploded along South Monroe Street.

Preliminary details said that the accident happened at around 10:30 p.m. at a residence off the corner of South Monroe Street and SW 31st Avenue.

According to officials, it appears that a man was working on a vehicle in a detached garage. While doing so, something exploded, causing the man to suffer burns. Right now, the exact cause of the explosion remains unclear. Investigations are ongoing.
