Commentary on Rhondalyn Rainey Accident in Stafford
I've learned over the years that once police put together a narrative and deal out consequences for any broken laws, they pretty much wash their hands of a crash and move on. They don't prioritize finding the specific source of a victim's injuries, which may be something wholly different than an ill-timed turn or a rear-end crash. For instance, what if the victim's airbag didn't deploy correctly, or her seat belt didn't retract properly? Vehicle malfunctions happen all the time and make a bad situation worse, yet they fly under the radar as people focus their attention on blaming the people involved.
So is it possible there's more to the story? Only further careful investigation could say. If police are satisfied with their take on events, that extra effort may have to come from somewhere else.
