Commentary on Bryan Pena Alvarez Single-Vehicle Accident in Arlington

There are two kinds of accidents people tend to jump to conclusions about the most: single vehicle wrecks and crashes involving teen drivers. This incident involving both doesn't give me much hope that the incident is getting the attention it deserves. That's already a big problem with single vehicle wrecks as even authorities tend to overlook possibilities they think are unlikely. In my experience, it's best to just let the evidence speak for itself. That often means ensuring there are independent investigations that will make sure nothing important slips through the cracks. Perhaps doing so here would open up a path to get those involved some much needed help.
