Zackary Bayer Injured in Alleged DWI Accident in Wichita County, TX

Wichita County, TX -- August 15, 2022, Zackary Bayer was injured following an accident which may have involved alcohol.

Initial details indicated that the crash took place just before 9:00 p.m. along River Road at the intersection of Pecanway Drive.

Officials said that 23-year-old Zackary Bayer was in a Ford Taurus traveling southwest along River Road. At Pecanway, officials say that a southeast Toyota 4Runner failed to yield, crashing into the Ford.

Bayer was taken from the scene with injuries said to be incapacitating. The other driver faced possible DWI charges due to allegations of driving under the influence of alcohol. Right now, these details haven't been confirmed.
