Commentary on Erbey Urias Truck Accident in Midland County

With a crash like this, it's important to ensure that authorities are getting all the facts. I recall this crash a while back out of West Texas with similar details to this. However, authorities in that case said the victim ran a stop sign. Following independent investigations, however, that turned out to be untrue. In fact, those investigations found TxDOT had actually removed those stop signs while working but forgot to replace them when they left for the day. That seems like a pretty important detail to overlook, no? Maybe nothing so unusual happened here, but folks come to me for help because I know how important it is to let the evidence speak for itself. It remains to be seen if that's what's happening here.
