‘Multiple’ Injured in Alleged Racing Accident on FM 1936 in West Odessa, TX

West Odessa, TX -- November 14, 2022, multiple people were injured following an accident which allegedly happened due to racing.

Authorities said that the accident happened at around 12:30 a.m. along FM 1936 near mile marker 324. It appears that a red Pontiac GTO traveling along the road somehow lost control and crashed into several parked vehicles.

People involved in the crash were said to be seriously injured. Police say the Pontiac driver was Joshua Burk, and they allege Burk had been racing at the time. Charges are pending, and additional details are unavailable.
