Brazoria County, TX -- November 12, 2022, Jeffery Bruegel was killed after an accident where two vehicles crashed on the highway.

Investigators said that the accident happened in the area of Lake Jackson along Highway 332. It appears that a pickup crashed into an SUV at a stop light. This caused the SUV to crash with two other SUVs in the crossing.

One person involved, identified as 64-year-old Jeffery Bruegel, sustained fatal injuries. It's unclear if anyone else was hurt.

There isn't much information about what actually happened here, and my hope is that people aren't simply assuming authorities have everything under control. They very well might, but I can't begin to count how many times families came to me with police investigations which wee incomplete or outright wrong. Authorities don't always have access to the tools and training needed for more complex accidents.
