Commentary on Clive Booth, Pedro Gutierrez-Lacon Truck Accident in Woodbury

There isn't much information about what exactly caused this accident. That's not entirely unusual when it comes to a serious commercial truck wreck, given how complex they can be. However, that complexity needs to be a sign to people to ensure the right people are looking into things. Authorities alone may not be enough.

A while back, for example, I had a family come to me about a crossover wreck. When we dug into things, we found evidence showing that the driver who police say crossed the center line was completely wrong. The investigating officer was simply inexperienced and ill-equipped, so he got the facts backwards. Maybe officers here are more skilled and better equipped, but folks may find that waiting around to find out may mean waiting until it's too late.
