Commentary on Darryl Knox Car Accident in Bell County

It's important in these situations to actually ensure authorities are getting the whole story. Folks don't often realize how authorities can overlook important details which require more thorough independent investigations to catch.

A while back, for example, there was this crash out in West Texas where police said someone ran a stop sign. Digging into things, however, it came to light that stop sign wasn't even there because TxDOT removed it earlier that day while working but forgot to replace it. That's a pretty big detail to miss, yet that sort of thing happens all the time. That's why I would discourage anyone from jumping to conclusions here. Getting help for those involved should be the priority.
