Jimmy Bass Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on N Frontage Road in Lorena, TX

Lorena, TX — November 8, 2022, 79-year-old Jimmy Bass died in a single-vehicle accident off North Frontage Road in Lorena.

Authorities say the incident happened shortly before 9:15 a.m. along the 400 block of North Frontage Road, near Brookshire Brothers Grocery. Preliminary investigation suggests Bass was driving along the roadway when he lost control for unknown reasons. His vehicle ran off the road and down into a retaining pond in front of the grocery store.

Bass was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues. No further information is available at this time.
