Commentary on Julio Caceres Motorcycle Accident in Dickinson

With complex multi-vehicle wrecks like this, people don't always realize the unusual factors that can lead to chain-reactions. Anything from a tire blowout to mechanical issues to medical conditions can set off a deadly series of events. Yet when I come across crashes like this, people rarely look past the fact there was a motorcyclist involved. That's because despite how many riders are safe and responsible, people are still quick to assume they were being reckless even when there isn't yet evidence to say one way or other what really happened. I can only happen authorities here don't share those biases, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time.
