Julian Ruiz Mendoza Injured in Car Accident in Caldwell County, TX

Caldwell County, TX -- October 12, 2022, Julian Ruiz Mendoza was injured following an accident where two vehicles collided.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 9:35 p.m. along FM 672. It appears that 39-year-old Julian Ruiz Mendoza was in a Ford F-150 traveling southbound on the roadway. From oncoming lanes, police say another vehicle crossed the center line and hit the pickup head-on.

Due to the collision, Ruiz Mendoza had incapacitating injuries, officials say. No other injuries were reported. Police believe the other driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time. This remains unconfirmed.
