Commentary on Dump Truck Accident on SR 63 in Monroe
It's not often a crash like this happens where the only person seriously hurt, at least according to public reports, is the truck driver. Experience tells me there's an important factor here the authorities failed to mention.
Maybe this was all just dumb luck, or maybe authorities are just being conservative with details they release. My concern, though, is that something unusual happened, and that can require investigators far more experienced and better equipped than most police departments. Are steps really being taken here to ensure nothing important slips through the cracks?
