Commentary on Tractor-Trailer Accident on US 30 in Potter

When it comes to a serious truck wreck, it's always important to make sure authorities are actually being thorough. Folks don't always realize that their efforts aren't always as exhaustive as they need to be for victims and families.

For example, I looked into a situation a while back here in Texas where police said someone ran a stop sign before a semi-truck hit them. The evidence, however, told another story. It turned out a construction crew working on that intersection removed the stop signs prior to the accident, but they forgot to replace them when they left. The victim didn't even have a stop sign to run.

I'm not saying that happened here or even that such a scenario is common. But over the years, folks would be shocked to see how often independent investigations revealed something important police missed. That's why getting people help usually means ensuring more experienced professionals look into things.
