Driver Injured in Car, House Accident on North 26th in Waco, TX

Waco, TX -- October 30, 2022, one person was injured in , due to an accident where a vehicle crashed into a house along North 26th.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 2:53 a.m. along North 26th Street off Gorman Avenue.

The exact cause of the crash remains unclear at this time. Authorities said only that a car ran off the side of the road and crashed into a house. As a result, the driver had to be airlifted from the scene. No one in the home appeared to be harmed.

Investigations are ongoing at this time.

This early in the morning, a serious accident like this always raises concerns that alcohol may have been a factor. That's obviously important to consider, especially since it's possible a local bar illegally over-served the driver and is liable under dram shop law.
