Commentary on Catalina Garza Silva Truck Accident in Montgomery County

Something I talk about a lot on this blog is never taking early reports at face value. Despite how some may see that, it is not to look for someone to blame who didn't do anything wrong, and it's not to suggest the early details are wrong. I've been doing this for 30 years. People come to me with details like these nearly every day. Sometimes, independent investigations show that police did a great job, and there's nothing else to discuss.

Other times, however, those investigations show police completely overlooked something crucial. Getting people help means ensuring they have as much evidence as possible, which is why it's important for people to understand how valuable independent investigations are. Otherwise, should they find themselves in similar circumstances, they may learn the hard way the same lesson my clients do seeing how an experienced attorney approaches serious truck wrecks.
