Pedestrian Injured in Accident on North Seymour in Laredo, TX

There isn't much information about what happened here, but folks may not think there's much to discuss. Either the victim had the right-of-way or they didn't, right? Well, pedestrian accidents aren't actually that simple. For example, if someone is in the middle of the road where they shouldn't be, but they're clearly visible and far enough away for a driver to avoid, a driver has a responsibility to avoid hitting them even if they have the right-of-way. It's unclear what exactly happened here, but it's important to keep that in mind while there are further investigations.
