Pedestrian Killed by 18-Wheeler on Phelan Road in Phelan, CA

Phelan, CA — October 26, 2022, a pedestrian was struck and fatally injured by a semi-truck on Phelan Road in San Bernardino County.

Authorities say the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. along Phelan Road near Caughling Road. Investigators haven't released much information about the cause or circumstances of the collision, but responders reportedly found the pedestrian deceased at the scene. Reports say the truck driver that hit the victim remained at the scene.

The investigation continues. No further information is currently available.

It's not unusual for there to be few clear details so soon after a crash, but it's important to ensure the situation is taken seriously and investigated carefully; I'm sure most would agree that the loss of someone's life is more than enough reason for that.
