Matagorda County, TX -- August 22, 2022, a Victoria man was injured after an accident where a commercial truck crashed off the highway.

Initial details said that the crash took place at around 1:55 p.m. along Highway 35 near the intersection of CR-388A

It appears that a 51-year-old Victoria man was behind the wheel of a Kenworth truck traveling along TX-35. One of the truck tires blew out, causing the truck to veer off-road and hit a pole.

Due to the collision, the Victoria man sustained injuries thought to be incapacitating. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
