Commentary on Thelma Sterling, William Sterling, Leroy McCoy Car Accident in Jasper

Folks may be quick to see that this involved a rear-end collision and figure this is all open-and-shut. In reality, just about every serious crash presents its own unique challenges. A crash involving multiple vehicles--including a commercial truck--is only going to prove more challenging. That's why it's crucial to consider sources beyond police alone for facts. They can often overlook something important if they lack the proper tools and training. With a scene this chaotic, I would hesitate to take at face value any reports that weren't given by experienced accident reconstructionists.
