Commentary on Nancy Dunn Accident in Katy

Police say the victim may have taken the ramp at unsafe speeds, though they're not clear about whether it was just the grade of the curve or poor road conditions that made it slide off the road. I'm not saying they're wrong or I know differently, but I also know from long experience that preliminary investigations don't always account for all the variables before reaching conclusions. Put another way: What if there's more to the story?

If the authorities handling the crash aren't considering every potential factor, then their reports may end up incomplete--or worse, incorrectly blame the victim for her own injuries when her crash was out of her control. If there's doubt or confusion about what sent her car off the road, it may be best to have independent professionals with the right tools and training look again. It's important that nothing be ignored or written off in pursuit of the truth. Click below to learn more.
