Commentary on Daniel Luna Accident in San Carlos

Police suggest the victim of this accident simply failed to yield while turning and tragedy followed. Maybe they're right, but I've been doing this long enough to know it's important to take preliminary findings with a grain or two of salt. Sometimes authorities are right on the money, but other times they overlook important details that would wholly change how an accident is understood.

That's why until all the facts are in (which may take efforts from independent investigators rather than waiting for police to connect every dot) it's best to withhold judgment and focus on what can be done to best help the people affected by this terrible incident. In the meantime the man who lost his life and can't defend himself deserves the benefit of the doubt unless clear evidence says otherwise.
