Rossel Padilla, Dylan Cordova Killed in Rollover Accident on Airline Drive in Houston, TX

UPDATE (October 25, 2022): Officials identified the two victims involved as Rossel Padilla and Dylan Cordova. No further information about the crash was released.

Houston, TX -- October 22, 2022, two people were killed after an accident where a pickup crashed off the side of Airline Drive.

Authorities said that the accident happened at around 3:45 a.m. in the area of Airline Drive south of Aldine Bender Road.

It appears that two men, unidentified at this time, were in a Chevy Silverado traveling northbound on Airline. The vehicle somehow ran off-road where it crashed into a tree and overturned.

As a result of the crash, the two people from the pickup sustained fatal injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash is unclear.

When people see a crash like this, they tend to assume the driver did something wrong. Quite frankly, that's a likely explanation. Considering things like fatigue and alcohol, it'd be ridiculous not to consider that possibility. It would be equally irresponsible, however, to overlook other possibilities just because they seem less likely.

Mechanical issues, medical conditions, road hazards, other drivers that left the scene--likely or not, it's important a victim's loved ones know they're getting the whole story. Are those steps being taken here?
