Gladewater Man Injured in Truck Rollover Accident on CR-317 in Henderson County, TX

Henderson County, TX -- August 31, 2022, a Gladewater man was injured due to an accident where a semi-truck overturned on CR-317.

It appears that the crash happened at around 3:22 p.m. along County Road 317 near Meadowview Lane.

Officials said that a 45-year-old Gladewater man was in a semi-truck traveling along CR-317. Ahead, a vehicle was making a turn. Details say the truck swerved to avoid hitting that vehicle, causing it to run off-road and overturn.

The Gladewater man sustained injuries said to be incapacitating. No one else was injured. Investigations are ongoing.

While finding out the cause of a given crash is always important, it's not always the only factor to consider. In a crash like this, for example, a more experienced investigator will to know also look into the condition of the victim's truck. There's an issue authorities overlook far too often where trucking manufacturers fail to build trucks up to modern safety capabilities.
