Garland Woman Killed in Hit-and-run Accident on Central Expressway in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- September 22, 2022, a Garland woman was killed due to an accident where multiple vehicles crashed, and one driver fled.

Investigators said that the incident happened just before noon along Central Expressway in the area of McCommas Bluff Road.

Officials said that a 43-year-old Garland woman was in a Jeep Liberty traveling southeast along the Central Expressway. Somehow, a collision occurred with a pickup, causing a chain reaction that involved a wrecker. The Jeep then careened off-road and overturned, ejecting the victim.

The woman was killed due to the crash. The pickup involved left the scene. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details remain unconfirmed.

There are many reasons this sort of thing could have happened, but it's obviously a red flag that someone left the scene. Frankly, that's not usually what someone does when they did nothing wrong. One has to wonder if the driver simply had warrants or if they were drunk and caused this tragedy.
