Commentary on Duncanville Woman Truck Accident on I-45 in Hutchins

A key component to a crash like this is timing and visibility. If some vehicle loses control and bounces directly into the path of a commercial truck, the truck driver may not have any reasonable way to avoid the collision.

However, if the vehicle is far enough ahead to be seen and avoided, a truck driver failing to do so can be a huge red flag. Were investigators able to reconstruct the conditions and determine if a reasonably prudent professional driver could have avoided this? If not, perhaps the crash would be better off in the hands of more experienced professionals.
