Xavier Decosta Abrams Injured in Car Accident in Gun Barrel City, TX

Something that stands out to me here is the disparity of reported injuries for the two drivers. Generally speaking, a driver hit from behind by a similar size vehicle isn't going to be so drastically worse off that the other driver. It could be a sign, then, that something unusual occurred. Did the victim's airbags go off? Did their seatbelts lock? Did their seat assembly stay intact? Does their vehicle absorb impacts according to modern safety standards? Likely or not, it would be irresponsible not to consider complex possible circumstances that may have led to this victim's injuries being so significant.
